| In April of 2004, Carolina Mahogany Classics undertook the restoration of a 1940 Elco 57 motor yacht. Within 18 months, we had completely restored/remodeled the entire vessel, including all plumbing and electrical, re-powered with diesel engines and restored all mahogany brightwork. At the completion of the restoration and sea trials, "Matriarch" was put into service on Lake Keowee in Oconee County, SC, offering elegant wine, cheese and sunset dinner cruises. |
